Just Another Day

Sorry I haven't updated in a long time. I can never seem to find time to get on the Internet anymore. Let's just say Todd has discovered computer games. They're his new favorite thing. He's addicted to those Harry Potter ones. And now that Charli doesn't have a boyfriend, whenever Todd isn't on the computer, she is. I swear, I have never seen her home so much. She's usually always out doing something. She's barely ever around. Sarah came to visit me last weekend. She was in Grand Rapids with her brother and sister visiting her dad. It was alot of fun. We hadn't seen eachother since the last American Idol concert we went to, which was the San Jose concert. It was alot of fun for all of us. Todd hung out with Derek alot, even though he's a couple of years older than him. Derek's actually the one who got Todd so caught up in the computer. I'll have to thank him for that later. Charli also spent alot of time with Tia. They're not quite the same age. I think Tia's a year younger, but she looks the same age as Charli, if not older. Sarah called me on Friday night from her dad's place. I wasn't sure if he was still with Tara or not, but then I heard Brittany crying in the background and that pretty much answered my question. They all showed up at our house on Saturday morning. Sarah and I only stayed for a little while because all that people is just too chaotic. It went fine for the first thirty minutes or so. My parents were just having a casual conversation with Tara and Sarah's dad, and then Alex asked Tara if he could play with Brittany. Brittany's only a little over a year old now, so I have no idea what Tara was thinking. Brittany kept chewing on everything. At first it was a small stuffed animal of Mickey Mouse and then Alex took it away from her and gave her a Sharpie to chew on instead. I have to say, that was incredibly stupid of Tara. Thankfully, Sarah noticed it quickly because babies really shouldn't chew on toxic things like markers. I mean, I just can't believe Tara didn't think anything like would happen. Alex is four, he doesn't know any better. So, Sarah took the marker away and then mom started yelling at Alex and gave him a spanking. He then started crying and Sarah and I took that as our cue to leave. We passed by Derek and Todd on our way out. It was hilarious to see them so into their game that they didn't hear mom screaming and Alex crying. They were like shut off from it, like they didn't hear it. Sarah and I were laughing about that for the longest time. It didn't take long for Hil and Michey to show up. Hil and Michey get along with Sarah whenever she comes. I was really glad that Sarah didn't say anything about Hillary's car because the dent in it is still there, and it's noticeable. We all went out to dinner and Sarah told us about Jason and how they've been dating for over a year now. Jason is so nice, he went to the American Idol concert with us in Anaheim. She also talked about how she got a new dog and she showed us pictures and stuff. He's a French bulldog and he's really cute. I can't wait until next time I go to visit her in California and I can see him. We got home and Alex and Taylor were already asleep. Todd was supposed to be in bed, but he and Derek were still playing games on the computer when we got home. They finally got off around 10:00 because Derek had to go to bed and they were complaining about the computer getting slow. Well, that's because they had been playing those stupid games for hours on end without restarting the computer. When mom realized that Todd was still up she got mad at him and made him and Derek go upstairs to bed. It's not like they actually went to bed, though. Who is she kidding? We heard running upstairs soon after that and mom told me to go upstairs and make sure the boys were in bed. I passed the guest room that Sarah's dad, Tara, and Brittany were staying in for the night and heard them talking. Tara was telling him how she didn't want to stay because she thought that one of the "outrageous young boys" might do something to Brittany to make her scared or hurt her or whatever. I would have to agree with her that my brothers can be a bit outrageous at times, but she shouldn't have been dumb enough to let Alex play with Brittany in the first place. She told my dad that they were completely out of control and started asking him if he was worried about Todd being a bad influence on Derek. I was thankful that Jim disagreed with what she was saying because it's not like Tara knows our family anyway. I told Sarah and she just said that that made it clear how much of a bitch she really was. I really think Jim can do better than her. Sarah told me if they ever even consider marriage she'll put her dad's picture on one of those online dating things, she would be that desperate. That made me laugh. Tia and Charli got home around midnight or so. Sarah and I were watching the end of some movie, I think it was Mystic River or something. Tara grounded Tia because she was fifteen minutes past curfew. Then Jim got mad at her because he said that she really didn't have that kind of power to ground his daughter. Sarah and I were struggling so hard to hold in our laughter. It was so funny to see the look of shock on Tara's face. You could tell she didn't expect him to ever say anything like that to her. She told him she was just gonna go to bed because she was trying to avoid an argument. As soon as she left the room, everyone started laughing. Oh my God, it was so funny. Everyone went to bed around 2:00. Mom went upstairs and caught Todd and Derek still awake and fooling around, so she grounded Todd from the computer for a day. She should've grounded him from computer and Nintendo because that's what he spent that day doing. We went to the airport early Sunday to see them off and Tara, Jim, and Brittany left not long after that to make their way back to Grand Rapids. It was alot of fun. Nothing really happened this week. I got some bad grades on a couple of tests, so I have to do an extra assignment to pull it back up. Josh and I aren't official yet. I'm still working on that, but it's definitely close. I didn't have a game this week either. So, I guess that's it for this entry

<3 <3 <3
Cammie

Life is Good!

We got a new dog! We also got two new cats! I haven't had a cat in such a long time. My dog's name is Maci and she actually belongs to just me and Charli. We split the cost to pay for her. We originally just wanted one cat, but we walked away with two cats and a dog. One of the cats I paid for. Her name is Farrah. She's a Siamese cat, and she's really sweet. The other cat we got is an Abyssinian. Her name is Belisa. I think that's an interesting name. We were going to rename her, but Taylor and Todd kept fighting over the names, so we just decided to keep it as it is. Hil and Michey finally worked out their differences. I'm so glad for that. I didn't know how much more I could take. Josh came to my game last week. I didn't get to play as much as I did the first game he came to. We won, but just barely. I went to homecoming over the weekend. I went with Josh even though we both kind of agreed just to go as friends. I think we're getting really close to a real relationship now. He wrote me a note today and finally asked me out. He's supposedly liked me for a long time, so that makes me really excited. Well, Charli's kicking me off the computer. So, I'll update again tomorrow hopefully :)

<3 <3 <3
Much love!

Exciting Night!

I was a little nervous today because we had our game today. I got on the bus this morning, and nobody was sitting with Josh. I thought maybe Michey and Hillary had made up, but there were about three or four seats in between them, so that told me that they hadn't quite worked things out yet. I sat with Josh and he told me that he saved this seat for me. That made me really excited because I like him so much! He's just so different from any other guy I've ever met. I asked him if he was still coming to the game and he told me he wouldn't miss it and that he was really looking forward to it! That made me even more excited. So, I told him I would get him seats in the front. I always save seats for Michey and Hil, so I figured I might as well save one more. I sat with Josh at lunch. Michele had to skip lunch because of her student council meeting, so Hillary ate with us. I've been eating on and off with them since this fight. It's pretty much who got to the table first and then the other had to find another place to sit. I bought Michey an egg salad sandwich and a cookie so she wouldn't be so hungry from having to skip lunch. The bus ride home was pretty much like the ride to school. Michey sat in front of me and Hil sat behind me. Then Hil offered Josh a ride to the game and told him that she was taking her mom's car because her car still had to be fixed. I knew Michey was listening and I could just see her getting more upset by the second. We all left for the game about and hour earlier because usually we do some practice drills and stuff. My parents had to keep getting on to Taylor and Todd for fighting. So, we did drills and stuff for about an hour and then people started coming in for the game. Hil and Josh came together. They sat in the front row beside Taylor, Todd, and Alex. My parents were sitting in the row behind them with Charli. My parents kept asking Josh all these weird questions and then my brothers started talking to him, which is even worse. Michey came about fifteen minutes after Hil and Josh got there. She sat beside Charli and my parents were really confused because usually Hil and Michey come together, and now they weren't sitting together. They kept trying to ask me what was going on, but I didn't want to talk about it in front of them. It took them awhile before they got the hint. So, the game went really good. We won! I think I played pretty well. What made it so exciting was that after I came back out Josh kept complimenting me on the game and said how much he enjoyed it and stuff. So, I invited him to the next one. Todd, Taylor, and Alex slept the entire way home so I told mom and dad everything about Hil and Michey. They didn't even seem to agree on the matter. Dad thinks I should support Hillary on this one, and mom told me to get behind Michey. So, that just makes it all the more confusing. Overall, tonight was great. I loved having Josh at the game, it's always nice to have more support. I just hope that sooner or later he'll take the hint and ask me out. I mean, I've given him plenty of hints. I also hope Michey and Hil work things out soon. I hate seeing my best friends fighting, and being pressured to take sides makes things worse. Well, I'm worn out from the game. So, I'm going to bed.

<3 <3 <3

Problems with Friends

You know the feeling when you're torn between two friends? It sucks! This has been one of the most complicated days of my life. I got on the bus this morning and I still didn't know what was going on between Hil and Michey. I didn't get a call from either one of them so I figured they might have made up. Well, I got on the bus and saw Michey sitting with Josh. That sort of made me mad because they weren't even talking, they weren't even looking at eachother. Plus, she knows that I like him. So, I asked her if she could get up so I could sit next to Josh because I wanted to talk to him about my game on Friday. She said that she didn't want to get up. I didn't really understand why until I realized that the only empty spot was beside Hillary. So, I pretty much figured it out then that they were still not talking to eachother. I still didn't know why, but I had figured out that much. So, I went to sit beside Hil and Michey starts yelling at me not to sit with her because she would try to get me to take her side. It was the only empty seat so I didn't really have a choice. I was really confused so I asked Hillary what was going on. Well, it turns out that Michey wrecked her car. I knew Michey was a little uncomfortable with driving and she had talked to me before about going to Hillary for help, she just never told when she was going. So, Hil let Michey drive her car. I don't want to go into too much detail because then Michey would probably get ticked at me too. So, basically she crashed it. So, Hillary wants her to pay for the damages, but Michey doesn't want to because she doesn't think it's her fault. I sort of think they're both responsible. I mean, Hillary took the risk by letting Michey drive her car. We both know how unexperienced she is when it comes to driving. I also think Michey should've been more careful because it wasn't her car. Not only that, but it was her best friend's car. I'm probably gonna end up paying for some of the damages, even though I didn't do anything.

Interesting School Day

I have so many feelings going through me right now, I don't even know where to start. For starters, I am exhausted! I forgot last night that I had a big test today, and I hadn't studied at all! I studied for a few hours and after that I couldn't concentrate anymore. I was just so tired. Being with my brothers all day is enough to wear anyone out. So, I decided to just go to bed. Sleep is important for a test. I don't know what time, but sometime in the middle of the night Taylor comes running into my room. I hate it when my siblings want to sleep with me, and Taylor is the worst one. She explains how she had a nightmare and begs me to let her sleep with me. I didn't want her to, but I can never say no. She is just too adorable, and if I said no I know that she would've cried. So, I let her stay. She climbs into bed with me, and she seriously is the worst one. I've had to deal with all of my siblings, except for Charli, wanting to sleep with me. She moves around so much in her sleep, it's unbelievable. The problem with my brothers is snoring, but the problem with Taylor is that she tosses and turns while she sleeps. It's been about fifteen minutes since I let her in and she taps my shoulder and says "Let's talk,". So, I obviously didn't get very much sleep last night. I got up early, so I got the bathroom before Charli did. By the time I was done, everyone was already downstairs except for Charli. Mom said she wasn't feeling well. She was faking, though. She didn't want Dylan stalking her. I got on the bus and went to the back where I always sit. Michele and Hillary were already sitting together. Josh was sitting in front of them and had nobody sitting next to him, so I got to sit by him. Hil (Hillary) and Michey (Michele) were already in deep conversation, so I pretty much talked to Josh the entire time. He asked me about my weekend and I told him about how we went to see First Daughter. As soon as Hil heard me mention it, she started telling everyone else who was listening how good it was. I was thinking about asking Josh if he wanted to go see The Forgotten or do something with me this weekend, but I didn't have to. He asked me! Of course I said yes. I think we're moving closer to a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, but I'm not sure it's all the way there yet. The test was hard, I'm not sure how I did on it. I have no idea what happened, but when I got on the bus in the afternoon, Michey and Hil were in some huge fight. I sat with Josh again because I kind of didn't want to get involved. Hopefully one of them will call me later and tell me what's going on. I just hope nothing too dramatic happens because Hil is big on being dramatic. Josh also said he's gonna come to my game on Friday. Our team's had a winning streak so far, hopefully we can keep it up!

Just Another Journal Entry

So, today was pretty good. I had locked my door last night so my brothers couldn't run in and wake me up so early this morning. I did have to get up at about 9:00 to go to church. We got back home and Dylan had left like a million messages for Charli telling her to call him, but she didn't. So we were all eating and then the phone rings. Guess who it is? It's Dylan. I told Charli who it was and she storms over to the phone, picks it up, and starts yelling at him. She told him to stop calling because she obviously didn't want to talk to him. He is so desperate. I think it's sweet that he cares so much, but it's also kind of sad. I mean, does he have no pride in himself at all? I had to baby-sit again today, but that's okay because it was my turn. Mom and dad go out way too much, at least a couple of hours everyday. I mean, I think I deserve a little freedom too. Todd and Taylor got into a fight so I made them go stick their nose in the corner for ten minutes. Taylor was sucking up to me for the rest of the day after that because she didn't want to get in trouble again. While I was baby-sitting Dylan called again and since I answered the phone I decided that I should go ahead and tell him what Charli was afraid to tell him. He asked me if it was over and I told him I thought it was like a 99 percent chance out of 100. I seriously don't think Charli is going to forgive him. They had been fighting alot, so I had already pictured a breakup long before this fight. For the time Charli was home, she told me over and over again how much she couldn't stand him, how low he was, and how she already had her eye on someone else. To me that sounds like definite signs of a relationship being over. I asked her just to make sure I hadn't made a mistake. I didn't want to feel guilty for messing up their relationship or anything. She told me it was definitely over and she couldn't believe he hadn't already figured it out. Of course, he called again later. I am seriously one step away from blocking him from calling. Charli got on the phone and told him she wanted to break up. He obviously didn't get it because he called back just a few minutes after that and was telling me how he didn't understand it. At that point, I had to block his number. I couldn't take anymore. It was driving me insane. I have no idea how Charli dealt with him for so long

Night With Friends

Well, the day got off to a bad start. I had to cancel my plans with Hillary and Michele because I got stuck baby-sitting. Charli came home alot sooner than I thought she would. The second she saw me she tried to disappear because she knew I would be upset with her. She knew I had already seen her, though, so she didn't give much effort at the whole disappearing thing. So she told me that she was really sorry and that she didn't realize she was supposed to baby-sit until after she left. I don't believe any of that, but I'm not gonna give her too much grief about it. So I asked her why she was home so early and she told me she into a fight with her boyfriend, Dylan. She must be really mad at him because I answered the phone when he called. I went to tell her and she just said that she didn't want to talk to him, and she also made sure I told him not to call again. I tried asking her what happened, but she wouldn't tell me anything. She told me that she was gonna be home all afternoon so I tried to call Michele and Hillary to see if we could still do something. Neither of them answered their cells so I just left a message. I was really bored. I called Sarah and talked to her for a little bit. Mom and dad are gonna be mad at me for calling long distance, but I don't care. So, at about 2:45 Hillary calls and asks if I want to go to the movies. I wasn't too crazy about the movie they picked, but I had nothing else to do. They got to my house around 3:30. Todd was all excited because he has a mad crush on Michele. So we got to cinemas around 4:00. The person at the ticket booth was really surprised that we were going to see First Daughter. I could tell he thought we were seriously too old for that movie. And considering there were girls in there that were like five, I agree. I wanted to go see The Forgotten, but I guess I'll just go see it with some other friends. The movie actually was better than I thought it would be, but I don't think it was anything great. After that we all went to eat. Then on the drive home Hillary was talking about how we should go on a road trip. I am not too crazy about the idea of going on a road trip with Hillary at the wheel the entire time. She can be a bit of a crazy driver, must have honked the horn about twenty times tonight. She's the only one out of us three who's old enough to drive. Michele just turned fifteen. She has her permit, though, but I've never seen her actually drive. I still have a couple of months to go before I get my permit. Overall, it was a good night. The movie was okay. I got to spend the evening with my best friends. So, it's all good for now. At least until mom and dad get home and find out about the long distance call, then I'll be in trouble

Tough Morning

It has been the toughest morning! First thing that happens is my brothers come storming into my room at like 7:00 this morning, start jumping on my stomach, trying to get me to wake up. I hate it when they do that. I can understand my brother, Alex, doing that because he's only four. I can't take it from my seven-year-old brother, Todd, though. I know he knows better because my little sister is a year younger than him and she doesn't do that. So I kick them out of my room and lock my door so that they can't come in again. As soon as I push them out they start banging on my door so that I would let them in again. I figured they would just go away and give up in like five minutes or so, but they didn't. I was getting really frustrated with them at this point. So I went out of my room and went downstairs. I put in a movie for them to watch and fixed them some cereal, hoping that it would distract them. So I go back into my room and I'm trying to go back asleep because the sun's just starting to rise outside. About ten minutes later I heard a crash coming from the kitchen. I go downstairs to see Alex in tears and Todd still watching the movie. I had no idea what had broke because I wouldn't be stupid enough to give them glass dishes to eat with. I don't know what broke, but it was glass. I cleaned everything up, but neither of them would tell me what happened. So after Alex stopped crying I went back upstairs and managed to fall back asleep. I got up again around 11:00. I went downstairs and everyone was up except for my older sister, Charli. It seems that Todd had told my parents that I had broken the plate, I guess that's what broke. So I got in trouble for that. Sometimes I just can't stand Todd. I was all upset and then my friend, Sarah, called. Sarah lives in California, but she used to live here. We went to the American Idol concert a couple of days ago in Anaheim. It was alot of fun. We also went to the Detroit show and Grand Rapids show together. Anyway, so she asked me how the pictures I took turned out. I hadn't thought about it until then so I asked my mom if she had loaded them onto the computer yet. She said she had so I went on the computer and looked. Alot of them didn't turn out so well, but some of them did. So then Charli wakes up and says that she's taking the car and will be back later. Well, that made me mad because Charli was supposed to baby-sit while I hung out with Michele and Hillary. So I had to cancel plans with them so I could watch Alex, Todd, and Taylor. Taylor is my little sister. So mom and dad left and the second they did it was instant chaos. I swear five minutes later Taylor was crying because Todd pinched her. Then Alex spilled juice on her dress. At least everything's calm right now. Alex is sleeping and Taylor's playing tea party or something with her dolls. Todd's watching Scooby Doo in the living room. I am still really ticked at Charli for doing that. It's not fair because I always have to cancel my plans with friends to baby-sit and my friends never want to come over because Todd seriously scares everyone. I better take advantage of my time now while it's quiet
